Why send an invitation? Send a whole Tweet Package. The prospect is simple. Offer your customers real value and they're more likely to click on your invitation. Instead of asking them to follow you, think about what your customer's goals are, as they relate to you and your products or services. Then, create a Tweet Package to help them meet their goals. When you email the "invitation," tell them you've put together a Tweet Package to help them reach their goal and invite them to try it. That wlll perk their interest. If you're a realtor, create a first-time home buyers package where buyers can follow you and people who tweet about interest rates, the home buying process, homes on the market, etc. Add searches related to homes. Find bloggers who blog about real estate and tweet, and include them in the package. If you're a recruiter, create packages for the job roles you recruit for: account execs, product managers, software developers, etc. Each package includes you, plus people who tweet about writing resumes, finding jobs in this market, personal branding, and about the specific industries hiring. Your candidates are a lot more likely to click a Twitter Job Seeker Package than an invitation to follow Joe Smith. |
